March 16, 2020

To our members and friends,

As Coopersville Farm Museum and Event Center continues to closely monitor the current Coronavirus situation, we feel we must do our part to “flatten the curve.”   By that, I mean that we need to limit social gatherings in order to slow the rate of infection passing unknowingly from one person to another. We do this so that the number of people who need hospital services remains in the range that our health care system can supply. We want to assure you that the well-being of our visitors, members, volunteers, and staff is Coopersville Farm Museum’s top priority.

As of today, Coopersville Farm Museum will be closed to the public and all public events are cancelled until further notice. Please know that we are committed to taking every precaution to support the health and well-being of everyone who visits Coopersville Farm Museum.

We plan to hold a small, closed Jam session (not open to the public) on Tuesday night that we will attempt to live stream on Facebook. I hope this brings some joy to those who are staying home.

The Easter Egg Hunt and Kids, Crafts, and Critters events scheduled for March 28 and every Saturday in April are cancelled. Since we have already filled thousands of eggs with candy, we hope to have the Easter Egg Hunt at a later date.

Line Dancing, the Antique Outboard Motor Show, Tractor Club, and Crazy Ladies Quilting Circle are all cancelled.

Thank you for doing your part with social distancing and hand washing!

Sincerely,

Lee Ann Proia

Museum Director
